ANYSEAL FAQ
We provide frequently asked questions and answers about Anyseal.
1) Anyseal C is manufactured with antigen-free type 1 Atelocollagen as the main ingredient, which is safe for pets. This product is a collagen-based tissue supplement that is injected directly into ligaments, tendons, muscles, and joint lesions.
2) This is a syringe-shaped disposable medical device for veterinarians only.
Type 1 collagen is composed of fibrous collagen, so it is tough and has tension like a rubber band.
More than 80-90% of animal muscles, tendons, and ligaments are made up of type 1 collagen.
Collagen from which telopeptides have been removed from type 1 collagen is called ‘type 1 atelocollagen.’
Because the antigenic telopeptides have been removed, there is less immune rejection, so type 1 collagen can be safely administered to the lesion site.
When type 1 atelocollagen is injected into damaged areas of ligaments, tendons, and muscles, the damaged areas are filled and tissue is replenished.
In other words, it is not a simple painkiller, but directly regenerates the affected areas of the animal's joints and musculoskeletal system.
As a result of injecting type 1 atelocollagen (Anyseal C) into the injured area of the knee ligaments of animals at our headquarters, we experimentally proved that the regeneration of the knee ligaments was better compared to the control group.
Type 1 atelocollagen is the basis for the regeneration of damaged ligaments, tendons, muscles, and joint tissues.
By analogy, Type 1 atelocollagen acts like nutrient-rich soil where crops can grow well.
Therefore, the higher the concentration of type 1 atelocollagen, the faster the damaged area can be regenerated.
anyseal C's type 1 atelocollagen uses a highly concentrated 3% agent to help your pet's damaged tissue recover more quickly.
anyseal C is a product that is injected directly into lesion areas such as ligaments, muscles, tendons, and joints.
Therefore, if the injection is difficult to inject into the joint space, which is less than 1cm for small dogs, or if the injection leaks outside the joint space, problems will not occur.
It is easy to use because it is injected directly into the painful area.
For example, even if claudication occurs due to patellar dislocation, it does not have to be injected into the joint space, so there is no need to worry about ‘what if the drug does not enter the joint space’ when injecting into the joint space.
Injecting the product not only into the joint space but also into damaged areas of surrounding ligaments, tendons, and muscles helps in treatment, so you can comfortably inject it anywhere in the musculoskeletal system.
However, problems may occur if the product is injected into a blood vessel during injection, so it is safe to check with regurgitation when injecting or to check whether blood forms on the needle before administering.
The main ingredient, type 1 atelocollagen, is a component of animal musculoskeletal tissue and serves as a medium for the recovery of damaged tissue.
Therefore, when performing neutering surgery on dogs/cats, patella surgery, joint surgery, etc., injecting Anyseal C around the surgical lesion and joint area before skin suturing will help prevent inflammation at the surgical site and improve recovery.
For example, if there is pain in the Achilles tendon or elbow area, but it is not enough to require surgery yet, but a pet is having difficulty with claudication or pain, or if the disease occurs in an area where surgery is difficult to decide immediately, injecting Anyseal C can provide treatment other than drug treatment. It could be a good alternative.
And in another example, there are cases where guardians hesitate because the cost of their pet's surgery is high.
Even in this case, if you suggest Anyseal C injection first and If pain persists after this injection, suggest considering surgery. The guardian will also think it is a reasonable choice.
Type 1 collagen, the main ingredient of anyseal C, is a component of muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints. Therefore, when administered to a pet's joint area, it penetrates into the lesion area and helps regeneration, so no deposits are formed.
When anyseal C is administered into the joint space, it does not remain in the joint space, but is absorbed into the surrounding lesion and is replenished for treatment.
So, your pet may feel stiff and uncomfortable for a day or two after receiving the injection, but the discomfort will improve over time.
yes. We recommend using it immediately after opening.
Anyseal C is a disposable product that is sterilized and aseptic. If the product is stored after opening and then re-capped, the possibility of contamination increases, which may cause inflammation and side effects when reused.
Yes, it is possible. Since injections can be made anywhere in the lesion area including the joint space, ligaments, tendons, and muscles, it is also possible to check the lesion area and divide the injection dose to inject into several locations.
Anyseal C is recommended to be administered at 1ml per lesion area.
*Higher doses can be administered at the discretion of the veterinarian.
*Below is the maximum dose when administered to lesions. (Based on 1 lesion area)
Weight less than 8kg: 3 Anyseal C can be used
Weight 8kg ~ 16kg: 6 Anyseal C can be used
Weight 16kg or more: 9 Anyseal C can be used
Yes, that's right.
Injections can be made anywhere in the affected area including joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles, including the joint space.
The main ingredient is collagen, which is injected directly into the painful area to replenish and treat the lesion, so it can be injected anywhere in the musculoskeletal system.
Many studies have proven that injecting collagen into skin disease areas is effective in improving skin diseases.
Our product is also believed to be helpful for skin inflammation as it contains collagen as its main ingredient, but since it is a product specialized for musculoskeletal diseases, we do not recommend using it for skin diseases.
Skin-related products are also scheduled to be released in the future, so we will let you know when they are released.
Since collagen replenishes and fills tissues and then regenerates tissues, it is recommended to monitor the progress for two weeks after injection.
It is recommended to be administered twice at two-week intervals.
(Can be administered to the same lesion site up to 5 times within 6 months.)
The expiration date is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
Because the principle is that tissue is replenished when injected into the lesion area, the pet may feel a little sore for 1-2 days after receiving the injection.
Therefore, limping and complaints of pain when pressing on the affected area may be observed. However, most symptoms improve after 1-2 days.
Therefore, it is a good idea to explain to the guardian in advance that your pet may have a hard time for 1-2 days
